My experience with the gentleman who runs this shop has been outstanding. He is gifted at watch repairs and anything watch-related, and always goes above and beyond the call of duty. He’s done some of the most impossible watch related jobs for me and he takes them on as a challenge. A thorough professional and a wonderful person. I am so impressed.

The store gate was closed, but the owner was inside with the lights on. We were trying to change my husband's Bulova battery because the watch had died. We called through the gate and the owner kindly came out to invite us in. We had tried changing it next door but the owner there said it needed a Rolex watch opener. Choy Hing had no issue opening it. The battery had leaked and had and had even turned to white dust inside. We were afraid the mechanism had spoiled. The owner cleaned it twice, put in a new battery, and it worked. As he worked, he gave us advice on watch and battery maintenance. As most people use digital fitness watches nowadays, battery watches are left in the cupboard. Even removing the battery will not preserve the watch. Wearing it is the best way; otherwise, change the battery once a year. Hubby set a timer for a year to change the battery. The owner only charges $10 for all his effort, battery and invaluable advice. Great respect for his craftsmanship. I am going to bring all my old watches and see if Choy Hing can salvage any of them.
