Bak kut teh stall at Albert Centre serving peppery Teochew-style pork rib soup since 1985.
Hougang Ming Ji Bat Kut Teh is a well-established bak kut teh stall at Albert Centre Market & Food Centre, bringing its signature Teochew-style peppery pork rib soup to the Bugis area. With roots tracing back to 1985, the stall has decades of experience perfecting its clear, aromatic broth — a style that contrasts with the darker, herbal Klang version. Each bowl features tender pork ribs simmered until they fall off the bone, served with you tiao and a side of chilli-dipping sauce. The stall operates from early morning through lunch, catering to the breakfast and lunchtime crowd. Regulars appreciate the consistent quality and the comforting, straightforward preparation that has changed little over the years. For anyone craving a steaming bowl of traditional Teochew bak kut teh in Bugis, Hougang Ming Ji is a time-tested choice — heritage cooking served one bowl at a time.Based on 20 Google reviews

Extremely horrible service. Below average food. Wish negative stars were possible.

Took a while to write this review. Despite takeaway, the noodles were QQ and especially love the shrimp dumpling and wantons. Fried wantons also a must order! Extra ketchup and chili the best way to go!
