Whole dish actually tasted bland, no wok hei of course. Belachan has zero power. Hokkien mee scene is so competitive here and this in my opinion is just half a level above total trash.

So huge crowd on CNY day 4. Decided to try it and was it any good?
I Love Fried Hokkien Mee
Everyone has their own preference, but this is my go-to FHM stall in this food centre. Taste-wise, it holds up well against the two more famous stalls, but the ingredients here are definitely better. The freshness, texture and quantity of ingredients are what keep me coming back.

Nice Hokkien mee stall in Beach Road Market. They have different types, with lala, roast pork or original.

I love that it's a stall that is proud to specialise in traditional hawker food. The portion is nice and I really enjoy the fresh crispy pork lard but that goes a nice crunch to the fish. Competently done but lacks the wok hei.
