Very unprofessional. Very Bad customer service. Will report to CASE as the unethical shop still challenges further without repenting. I purchased cashew nuts from this shop which were overly roasted and tasted burnt. After consuming some, I developed a sore throat and returned to provide feedback and request an exchange. Instead of checking the product properly or handling the matter professionally, the staff immediately rejected responsibility, blamed the supplier, and showed no willingness to understand the issue or offer a reasonable solution. Avoid this shop as much as possible!!! Now making the assumption that the nuts were "half eaten".....? Are you sure half eaten? Have you weighed it? You don't even want to look at it and find out what the issue is, but just pushed away my feedback directly. Are you sure you've explained hygiene and food safety issues to me? Come on... Don't anyhow say leh....you never explained at all but simply blamed your supplier. Still dare to ask me to go look for your supplier and claim from them. Remember what you've said??? What kind of customer service is that??? You wanna compare yourself to Sheng Song & NTUC? Hahaha... They don't sell lousy quality products like you and they will settle the issue nicely, not like you with your very lousy attitude in doing business. Totally avoiding responsibilities and spoiling your own reputation. If everyone does business like you, pushing faults to suppliers and don't take the responsibility to rectify the issue, no one will patronise anymore. Better close down. 👎👎👎 Free replacement? Those are over-roasted and burnt cashew nuts, mind you! We paid for it and it's not free. You're really unethical. REPORT TO CASE! AND NOW CHANGE STATEMENTS TO HALF EATEN OR NOT IS IRRELEVANT?? KEEP CHANGING YOUR STATEMENTS??? No need to explain further. I already know you are not telling the truth and are truly unethical. It's not about a pack of nuts, it's about your UNETHICAL practice and attitude. Reply from CASE. If the consumable goods are genuinely defective, unsafe, spoiled, burnt, over-roasted, or not of acceptable quality, the customer may still have grounds to request a replacement, refund, or raise the matter with Consumers Association of Singapore, even if the package was opened. Consumable items usually must be opened before defects in quality can be discovered. So saying: "once consumable goods are opened, you are not entitled to a free replacement" can be inaccurate or legally risky if the product quality is disputed.
