Braised Duck Rice with Gizzard. I vaguely recall this stall used to sell roast duck but has did a complete 180 degrees to braised duck. The good news? Their braised duck is actually quite good.

Hawker stall at Albert Centre famous for braised duck rice and rojak, open Tuesday to Sunday.
Ser Kee Restaurant is a no-frills hawker stall at Albert Centre Market & Food Centre, best known for its braised duck rice and Singapore-style rojak. The duck is slow-braised until tender, served over rice with a savoury sauce that regulars find deeply satisfying. The rojak, too, draws its own following — a well-balanced mix of fresh fruits and vegetables coated in a sweet, starchy prawn paste. Operating from Tuesday to Sunday, the stall caters to the lunchtime crowd and tends to sell out by late afternoon. Prices are modest, and the portions are generous, making it popular with office workers and nearby residents alike. For a comforting plate of braised duck or a tangy helping of rojak in the Queen Street area, Ser Kee delivers honest, satisfying flavours — a solid example of everyday hawker cooking in Bugis.Based on 21 Google reviews

Random find on a quiet Saturday afternoon - such an awesome braised duck rice! A one-woman operation; she chops and slices duck meat skilfully. One has to wait for their turn and pays in cash. Their braise sauce has got to be one of the lightest (if not the lightest!) sauce I’ve ever had drizzled on the white rice - and yet it still has flavour? Not overly herbal? Duck meat is not gamey at all, the chilli sauce complements the meat perfectly. It almost has a slight creamy taste to it? I seriously don’t know how they do it but googling the Ser Kee name returns some historical info so this yummy goodness has only got to do with decades of experience! WILL COME BACK AGAIN JUST FOR THIS

Super love their duck rice, one of the best in Singapore. Meat is tender, even the neck portion. Remember to add a serving of pork skin, pig’s ear- very nice bite.

For $4.50, the braised duck on white rice is tender and delicious. Slices are relatively thick compared to the thin slivers I’ve had at Yu Kee outlets. The auntie chops and debones the duck upon order.
