Luckin Coffee's 100th Singapore store opens at Bugis Junction

Luckin Coffee's 100th Singapore store is at Bugis Junction, 80 Middle Road, #01-71/72. The chain's own Facebook listing put brewing hours at 7.30am to 10.30pm on weekdays and 7.30am to 11pm on weekends. The shop started serving on 15 September with a two-week 1-for-1 drinks offer. The official 100th-store launch was 28 September 2026.

Singapore was Luckin's first market outside China, in 2023, with Marina Square and Ngee Ann City. Three years later the company says it has more than 1.9 million transacting customers here and more than 860 staff. Chairman David Li, quoted in the 28 September release, called Singapore the proof that the model travels. The Straits Times, speaking to general manager Steve Teo on 24 September, reported the network had already hit 103 outlets by launch week, with International Plaza, Alexandra Retail Centre, and a Cheers kiosk at Nanyang Polytechnic among the newest. Up to six more are planned for the rest of 2026, including SUTD, YewTee Point, and Limbang Shopping Centre.

Bugis Junction is not a random 100th pin. The company picked a transport hub on the East-West and Downtown lines, next to the shophouse grid of Hylam Street, and built the shop to LEED Gold. Branding in Asia, working from Luckin's photos, lists a Singapore art wall with Peranakan patterning, an interactive projector of the store map, a deer-logo wall made of coffee beans, and a 100th-store photo corner. Little Big Red Dot describes a SINGAPORE letter wall, Merlion in the S, a round 100 badge in the O, terracotta tiles, and ceiling fans. It reads more like a shophouse than a grab-and-go hatch, which is the point if you are walking in from Bugis MRT Exit B.

What this outlet pours that the others do not

The Bugis shop is where Luckin introduced pour-over. The Straits Times prices it at $8.50, using either Colombia Gesha or Costa Rica Gesha. MustShareNews, covering the launch week, describes Costa Rica as sweet with bright fruit acidity, and Colombia as lemongrass, honey, white florals, vanilla, and cream. That is the one reason to come here instead of the next Luckin two blocks away.

Luckin Coffee Golden Velvet Latte launched for the 100th-store week

Islandwide from 29 September, the Golden Velvet Latte is Luckin's Vienna-style cup: espresso, buttery milk, popcorn-inspired syrup, cream, caramel drizzle. The Cheesy Mochi Puff sits beside it, milky and lightly savoury. Those two are not Bugis exclusives. The pour-overs are. The drinks that actually built the Singapore menu are older. Coconut Latte and Little Butter Latte have each passed two million cups here. Local series include pandan, brown sugar, and Milo. The company says it has launched more than 130 products in this market.

The Malay Street Atrium takeover, 29 September to 3 October, is over. Photobooth, stamp postcard with Love Curates, Lucky the deer mascot, and the spin wheel ran those five days. If you missed them, the store is the remaining story. Luckin also used the launch to extend its partnership with the Institute of Mental Health and Woodbridge Hospital Charity Fund, which has sold art by mental-health service users in outlets. That is not a coupon. It is the piece of the opening that will still be on the wall after the atrium banners come down.

Bugis already had Yang's Dumpling in the basement and Beard Papa's at #B1-K05A from late September. Luckin sits on Level 1 of the same mall, on the Middle Road side, which is the useful one if you are coming off the bus stops rather than the underground MRT link. App members still get the usual $0.99 first-cup hook. The 1-for-1 at this outlet ended 27 September. The $2.99 member coupons ran 29 September to 2 October. What is left is a normal Luckin ticket with two Gesha pour-overs you cannot order at the other 100 shops.

If you want coffee before the mall fully wakes, 7.30am is earlier than most Bugis Junction tenants. Pair it with a walk through Hylam Street or Bugis+ across the bridge. Do not treat this as a destination cafe. Treat it as the 100th store Luckin chose to look like Singapore, in the precinct that already runs on commuter traffic.
